Welcome to The Mom Inspirer’s first blog post. As mothers, we often experience many highs and lows. This blog serves to be a space for mothers to be inspired, empowered and connected by the stories of other moms. Stories filled with all the humor, the frustration and the beauty of motherhood.
As a mom of two little people who are soon to be 3 and 5 years of age, I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed at times. I’ll be sharing more about my journey throughout the blog and I’m looking forward to connecting with all the moms and mom supporters who come across this blog.
Speaking of connecting, check out this awesome app called Peanut. It’s a cool way to meet other moms in your area to interact with. I joined the app earlier in the year. Interacting with the app kind of gave me the feel of a dating app, but if you don’t mind this, it’s really great at providing a platform for moms to meet each other based upon similar interests.
So, as I close out my first intro blog, why don’t you drop a comment below and let me know a little bit about yourself. Tell me your name, how many kiddos you have, where you’re from, and if you don’t mind, share what’s keeping you going as a mom so far this week. I’ll go first: Brenda-Gail, two kids (Malia 4 and Isaac 2), from Chicago, IL but living in Memphis, TN. What has kept me going in the last week? Coffee and prayer!
